1980's
The era of lease and build
The Santilli family moves into end-to-end pre-lease facilities, managing land acquisition, project design and build construction for clients such as Laminex Industries, Star Track Express, Corporate Express and BMW.
2003
Santilli Group becomes CIP
We form CIP with Paul McKenna from Walker Corporation/Australand. CIP becomes a leading developer and builder of industrial and business park facilities in Australia. Our focus is on distribution, warehouse and commercial business parks for specialised industries.
2007
Charter Hall acquisition
50% of CIP is acquired by Charter Hall, one of Australia’s premium fully integrated property groups. The partnership ultimately delivers high quality pre-leased investments to clients such as Australia Post, VW, Ceva, AHG, Coles, Target, Reject Shop and many others.
2012
5-Star Green rating
CIP becomes the first contractor to be awarded the inaugural 5 Star Green Star Industrial As Built v1 rating for a building development.
2018
Purchase by ESR
100% of CIP is sold to ESR, a specialist in building logistics infrastructure for the new economy.
2020
Coming full circle
Santilli Group is re-established by Dennis Santilli, in partnership with CIP’s Scott Buchanan. The business is located at 101 Collins Street, Melbourne.
